Ditch Break Foam
Ditch break foam creates a dam along the trench to prevent the trench from collapsing and support the pipeline. It also prevents soil erosion by stopping surface and below ground moisture run. Spray foam pipe insulation in Western Canada is effective for ditch breaking. The spray is applied as a liquid, which turns into an expanding foam that adheres to the sides of the trench and surface of the pipe.
