Containers&VehiclesSprayFoamInsulation
Types of Vehicle Insulation
Open-cell and closed-cell spray insulations are the two main forms of spray insulation used in containers and vehicles. Open-cell spray insulation is often used by laying down a linear layer of spray polyurethane foam (SPF). This type of foam can expand to reach hidden spaces in walls. However, the open-cell type fails to provide maximum thermal and water resistance due to its cells that aren't fully encapsulated.
On the other hand, closed-cell insulation uses layers of foam stacked onto each other to produce impenetrable high-strength insulation. Beyond providing exceptional thermal resistance, this insulation will also create a water-resistant barrier. Closed-cell insulation builds on the benefits of open-cell insulation to give you a superior solution.
Halo Environmental offers closed-cell insulation with the highest R-value to ensure you enjoy increased insulation benefits.
Commercial Vehicle and Shipping Container Insulation Services
At Halo Environmental, our Insulthane® Extreme spray can insulate many types of commercial vehicles and shipping containers to provide soundproofing and thermal insulation. We can customize our insulation services according to your requirements. Our insulation services include:
Shipping Container Spray Foam Insulation
Shipping containers are some of the most versatile products out there. They are great candidates for businesses seeking an on-site office or a durable and cost-effective storage space, but they are not generally comfortable. They are extremely susceptible to environmental elements, meaning if you have turned your shipping container into an office, you will feel the harsh winters of Western Canada.
One of the best ways to introduce comfort into a shipping container is by employing spray foam insulation. SPF insulation will form a protective barrier in your shipping container, effectively controlling the impact of the weather. Our spray will mold to the container walls to create an airtight environment. The airtight closed-cell spray foam will help you regulate internal temperature by reducing heat loss in the winter and keeping the cool air within your container in the summer and spring.
Commercial Vehicle Insulation
Whether you are transporting specialty equipment or goods that require a specific temperature, Insulthane Extreme spray foam can provide high-grade insulation. Thanks to its innovative engineering, our commercial vehicle spray foam insulation will encase your vehicle’s interior to promote temperature stability and soundproofing. When carrying temperature-sensitive products, you won’t need to worry about increased fuel spending used for cooling and heating.
Trailer Spray Foam Insulation
Our flame-spread-tested trailer insulation technology is the best way to provide under trailer protection for your holiday trailer. Spray foam will fully encapsulate the area under your trailer to protect from road debris, rocks and other damage that occurs during transport, and will also prevent rodents from entering through seams. Insulthane® can also create a water-resistant barrier to protect your trailer from moisture damage that can result in molding or rotting, and helps to keep the floor warm in winter months.
